This painting is called Bigfoot's Chores. I could say a million things about it. I think it's funny; I like the idea of seeing Bigfoot in this really domestic sorta situation. There's something I identify with—you know, internally feeling like a wild animal, but then being trapped in this landscape of chores and really bizarre sort of society we've created. I’ll leave what the chores are to the viewer; I see it multiple different ways myself. Very common daily chores come to mind: taking out the trash, carrying some water, all the things tied to the system we live in, even though we like to think Bigfoot doesn't, that he's the only free one. The piece is a mix: acrylic and house paint with a cedar frame.
