This is a 1of1 lacquer cut of a song I was commissioned to write for a fundraising campaign in 02/2012. This guy Jason hired me to write it so he could us it to break up with his then-girlfriend Joanna. I recorded it alone at my house on Gantenbein in North Portland: a couple vocal tracks, two guitar lines, a bit of bass, and hand percussion. It’s a mellow, meandering minor-key tune—little sad, little pretty. Adam at Telegraph Mastering cut it while I watched, ran it through his machine, and handed me the record.
