This guitar is a knock-off Fender from Vietnam, that was used by the band Dirty On Purpose. The original owner bought it for $50 and smashed it. I mounted the damaged body above my door for a long time before deciding to transform it into a real Jaguar. I added a genuine sixties Mustang neck and took it to shows, where it often got smashed. The wood, likely evergreen or pine, caused painful splinters, leading me to eventually retire it. Despite its rough condition, I made modifications, including taping over damaged areas and drilling a hole for the whammy bar. The neck was reinforced with glue, and the controls were removed, allowing for a simple plug-and-play setup.
